Agostino, 37 The Therapeutic Landscapes or the promotion of the diversity for human well-being I Paesaggi Terapeutici come conservare la diversità per il “Ben-Essere” dell’uomo Nature Therapy– Presenting an innovative framework that incorporates nature into therapy Tamar Linchevsky, Ronen Berger The Nature Therapy Center. Tel-Hai College. Israel Nature Therapy is an innovative nature oriented therapeutic framework. It broadens the classical therapeutic concept of "setting", as static, permanent and under the control and ownership of the therapist as it addresses the live and dynamic natural environment as a place to do therapy. Nature Therapy develops concepts and methods that assist its operation in nature; addressing nature as an active partner in the shaping of the setting and process while incorporating nature's healing powers in it. Nature Therapy relates to the relationship with the natural space as a key reference point, using non-verbal and creative ways of working in order to connect to the wisdom which is embedded in this ancient bond. Based on the presenter's experience the lecture will present the basic concepts of this innovative framework while illustrating practical methods that can be used with different populations and in varied landscapes. |
